Vortrag: "Opera Vertical“ ein Abend mit Pesche Würthrisch

The Swiss free climbing pioneer Pesche Wuethrich presents his talk “Opera Vertical” and takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the history of modern free climbing.

Wüthrich takes his audience back to the beginnings of his passion for the mountains in Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland, where the foundation for his extraordinary career was laid between impressive limestone walls and alpine tradition. As the "man of 1000 routes," he looks back on decades full of adventures, first ascents, and encounters in the great climbing regions of Europe.

In his presentation, he connects personal experiences with the development of free climbing from the 1980s to the present day. He tells of the beginnings of a movement that has sustainably changed the sport of climbing, of technical developments, real camaraderie, and the experiences that connect generations of climbers.

With impressive images, exciting stories, humor, and a great deal of passion, Pesche Wüthrich makes the fascination of the vertical world accessible to everyone. The presentation is aimed not only at climbers but also at hikers, mountain enthusiasts, and all those who enjoy authentic travel, nature, and life stories.
