You can enjoy an impressive 360° view of the historic town of Vogelsang on the one hand and the Eifel National Park on the other from the viewing platform of the 48-meter-high Vogelsang Tower.

The flanking tower of the east wing defines Vogelsang’s image as an “Ordensburg.” Originally planned as a water tower but quickly rendered obsolete, it has nonetheless served as an indispensable symbol of power and sovereignty. In a total of 45 minutes and after climbing 177 steps, our tour guides will give you an overview of the historic site and its current uses, as well as the national park and the neighboring Eifel towns.

The Vogelsang IP—tower climb with panoramic views—takes place daily from April through October at 1:00 p.m., as well as on weekends and holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., starting on the hour. Tickets are available at our visitor information center.
