St. Martinszug der Stadt Adenau

Traditional "St. Martinszug" where children and their parents walk with laterns along the streets, in front of them a man on horse who plays the roman soldier Martin who later became bishop of Tour (in France).

The traditional St. Martin’s parade begins on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the DRK rescue station. St. Martin on his horse will be accompanied through the streets of Adenau by many children and families carrying colorfully decorated lanterns. Of course, the children can look forward to a delicious “St. Martin’s pretzel.”
