Peter Orloff and the Black Sea Cossack Choir last time in Waxweiler.

The farewell tour of the Black Sea Cossack Choir under the direction of Peter Orloff has exceeded all even the greatest expectations. With nearly sold-out concerts everywhere, it was awarded "Tour of the Year" in April 2026, and more than lived up to its name "Triumph of a Legend." Concert attendees are touched and thrilled, but also saddened.

Due to countless requests from those who wish to experience Peter Orloff and his Black Sea Cossack Choir one more time, a final festive farewell concert will take place as part of carefully selected additional dates on Sunday, December 13, at 6:00 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Church in Waxweiler. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. The event is part of the "Culture in the Church" series by Catholic Adult Education in the Diocese of Trier in the parish of Westeifel St. Willibrord and the Gerhard Faber Foundation.

For one last time, Peter Orloff and the Black Sea Cossack Choir will transport concertgoers in Waxweiler into another world, another time, and fascinate them for two hours. "Not like a candle slowly extinguishing, but like a firework shining brightly once more" and showing everything that has made this magnificent ensemble such a legend over the past decades.
