The festively decorated and warmly heated Vulkan-Express starts up to three times at 09:30, 12:30 and 15:30 from the Brohl valley station in Brohl on its one-hour journey through the wintry Brohl valley. The trains are pulled by our almost 120-year-old steam locomotive 11sm

It is always a very special and unforgettable experience for young and old to look out for St. Nicholas along the way.

At the destination station, St. Nicholas waits with his sack of presents for the train to arrive. He waves to the arriving train, greets each child personally and presents them with a richly filled Santa's bag.

The journey takes about two hours there and back from Brohl.
