The Winklepickers play blues in the jazz club


It’s happening again: Roger Melcher (vocals and harmonica) and Roland Meyer (guitar, stompbox, and vocals) are “The Winklepickers.”

Spicy acoustic blues from the depths of the Alzettetal, hillbilly roots, and bluegrass power from downtown Luxembourg to the heights of the northern hinterland. From Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Little Walter Jacobs to the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin: a fabulous journey through the deep, old, blue swamp delta of “Blues de Luxe.”

The Monday-Night Jazz takes place on Monday, 08. 11. 2027, starting at 8 p.m. in the Jazz-Ballroom at the Bowling-Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission is free.
