Bitburger Jazzclub

The Jazz Initiative Eifel presents a highlight in the first jazz club of the new year. The new German band "Reis" will perform here. The quartet is already a sought-after and well-known name in professional circles and is playing in Bitburg for the first time.

Since mid-2022, "Reis" has been on stage, bringing a unique mix of fusion jazz, funk, and very light punk elements to the ears. Elaborate solos, striking themes, and unusual time signatures characterize the band's sound – sometimes playful, sometimes edgy, but always with recognition value.

The influence of the different musical backgrounds of the four musicians is unmistakable: Sebastian (Saxophone), Christoph (Guitar), Marius (Bass), and Laurin (Drums) unite their experiences into a distinct style. Jazz maybe – but above all: "Reis." In 2023, the debut album "Untiefe" was released, with the band performing on numerous stages in Germany and Switzerland – including in Berlin, Basel, Leipzig, Dresden, and Essen.

The Monday Night Jazz takes place on Monday, January 11, 2027, starting at 8 p.m. in the Jazz Ballroom at the Bowling Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5. Admission free.
