Advent Sounds with the Duo ›con emozione‹ in Naunheim

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the Verbandsgemeinde Maifeld invites you to a delightful Advent concert at 6 p.m. in St. Alban's Church in Naunheim. Under the title “Wishes and Thoughts,” the duo ›con emozione‹ presents a varied program featuring winter, Advent, and Christmas songs.

Soprano Liane Fietzke and pianist Norbert Fietzke, who have been making music together for over 30 years, take the audience on a musical journey through the Advent and Christmas season. Here, compositions by Georg Friedrich Händel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart meet their own settings of poems by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Joseph von Eichendorff, and Theodor Fontane, among others.

Alongside classical works, traditional melodies are also on the program, inviting the audience to listen and sing along. Reflective and lively moments alternate, providing a special musical start to the Advent season.
