This leaves plenty of space for all kinds of activities and is particularly suitable for children.The intermediate embankments are only mowed with a scythe at the end of June and provide a habitat for a variety of plants and small animals. Our glamping tents stand on large wooden platforms and have a small outdoor terrace. The beds are made of straw. Therefore, and also because of the high cotton content of the tents, there is a very pleasant indoor climate. All tents have a small serving trolley with cutlery, glasses, plates etc. as well as a clothes rail and seating. For cosy lighting, there are fairy lights and solar lamps, which can also be used to charge a mobile phone via USB. There is also the possibility of using electricity between the tents. An outdoor kitchen with a large barbecue area is available for self-catering. Many delicacies are available in the small farm shop and garden. If the weather is not so good to cook on the open fire, you will find toasters, kettles, hot plates and a small oven in the small farm shop. In our outdoor sanitary facilities you will find environmentally conscious outdoor showers as well as environmentally conscious dry separation toilets.

Electricity and sanitary facilities are available. Please note that the front area of the campsite and the barrels are unfortunately no longer usable.Despite everything, the Waldcamping team is happy about every guest who brings back a bit of normality!

Dear Guest,   We warmly welcome you to the Waldhotel Machtemes-Mühle, located in the southern Eifel in the romantic Irsental, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Rheinland-Pfalz. As the name Machtemes-Mühle suggests, this was once the location of a mill - more precisely, a Lohmühle, which was first mentioned in a document in the 17th century. Here you can enjoy the almost untouched nature in the footsteps of the Lohgerber in the heart of the Deutsch-Luxemburgischer Naturpark and relax ……. let the soul dandle. Kilometers of natural hiking trails lead you along the Irsen-creek  into the "valley of 1 000 butterflies", into an oasis of well-deserved relaxation for body and soul - here the world is still in order, here nature may still be nature. Not far from the Luxembourg border (6 kilometers), the Naturpark-region invites you to visit its sights - the medieval castle Kasselburg, the zoo "Eifelzoo" and the waterworks in Vianden (L) or the copper mine in Stolzembourg (L) , Children love to have fun in the outdoor swimming pool in Neuerburg or try riding in the nearby riding Stable.
