With trail running, the focus lies more on the route and the nature and not in the achievement of best times.

We will glide along with you through the unique landscape of the Eifel and past the places of interest in Monschau, the surrounding villages of Schleiden, Gemünd, Simmerath, nearby Belgium, the Rur Lake and the unforgettable Ravelweg.

Water is the source of all life - it shapes landscapes, shapes cultures and continues to cast its spell over us. On this time loop through the Rureifel region, where water has not only shaped nature, but also history and culture, you will encounter the element in all its facets: sometimes calming and healing, sometimes powerful and creative.

On the "Dreeswanderweg" (Drees hiking trail), you will pass the “Josendrees”, located directly on the Josenbach stream. Delicious sparkling water refreshes you on the way.

In our grill restaurant you can eat and drink at incredibly low prices before, during or after your hike. We also open for groups outside of business hours.Only 80m from the "Vulkan - Express" train station in Oberzissen.

With a 20 cm depth of snow, a horse sleigh with 2 Belgian draft horses will travel from Mützenich through the Fens.

Very beautiful and scenic circular hike from Schuld via the Schornkapelle chapel and open-air stage to the neighboring village of Insul and from there back to Schuld.
