Bayrischer Burg Biergarten 1177

Nideggen

closed todayFurther opening hours

In the beer garden, which seats around 200, there are many Bavarian delicacies (pretzels, obazda, veal sausage, knuckle of pork, radish, potato salad, snack platters and much more) as well as the "not really Bavarian" but extremely popular "Oskar's finest currywurst", of course with Belgian fries. There's also real Bavarian beer on tap, as well as freshly tapped Kölsch and Pils and many other refreshing drinks, coffee and delicious cakes in the afternoon.

And why a Bavarian beer garden in the Rhineland, in the Eifel? The gastronomic offer is otherwise very regional. But Bavaria is simply the motherland of beer gardens with a very special flair. And this is exactly the atmosphere you will experience here!

The typical Bavarian beer garden is not just about the specialties and the drinks, it also means, for example, that it is no problem to bring your own sandwich with your beer and that you can get your own food and drinks at the bar.

Incidentally, 1177 is in the name of the Bavarian Castle Beer Garden because this is the year in which Wilhelm II, Count of Jülich, laid the foundation stone for Nideggen Castle.
