every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday of the month | A ranger will first guide you along the Heimbach reservoir and then through challenging trails in the beech forests of the Kermeter, a highlight of the Eifel National Park.

The Gerolstein railway depot opens its doors on the weekend and offers a colorful program featuring live music, culinary offerings, and exciting insights into the historical site. You can see, among other things, the turntable, water cranes, and historical as well as newly built buildings. A special highlight is the Adler – a replica of the oldest steam locomotive in Germany – which will be visiting and conducting shuttle rides from the railway depot.
