Wanderwoche Südeifel - Wasser, Wald & Wein

Shady forest paths, narrow walkways over the Steinbach ditch in the Plattener Switzerland, and the story of the Plattener Däwel are just a few of the spectacular ingredients for hiking enjoyment during the Hiking Week Südeifel 2026.

The approximately 7.5 km long guided hike along the Plattener Rundwanderweg P3 combines a successful cultural and hiking experience. It reveals interesting information about viticulture in the Liesertal, and knowledgeable narrators entertain with traditional stories about the Plattener Däwel. The starting point is at Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Winzerhof Görgen in Platten. Through the impressive Plattener Schweiz, the route leads over natural forest paths and narrow walkways over and along the Steinbachgraben, across a section of the Lieserpfad, and accompanied by the well-known Mosel tributary back to the village. The vinotheque and the Winzerhof café at Winzerhof Görgen are the destination for the group's break with spicy Plattener Teufelsbraten.
