Wanderung bei Plütscheid

The Eifelverein, Daleiden-Dasburg chapter, is offering a guided Saturday hike near Plütscheid.
We’ll meet at 1:00 p.m. at Gasthaus Geimer in Plütscheid.

Our hike begins in the center of Plütscheid and takes us along varied trails southwest around the striking summit of the Hasenknopp. The route offers a wonderful mix of dense, quiet forest sections and open meadow paths. The absolute highlight of the tour is the sweeping panoramic views: In good weather, we’ll enjoy fantastic vistas across the Eifel hills and look down into the romantic Prüm Valley, as well as at the picturesque Prüm Loop near Mauel. With a walking time of about 2.5 hours and a moderate elevation gain of 125 meters, the route can be described as easy and is well within the capabilities of any hiking enthusiast.
