St. Martinsumzug in Lüxem

St. Martin's Parade in Lüxem on 07. November 2026

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Lüxem Music Association invites you to the traditional St. Martin's procession. The start is at 6 p.m. at the festival grounds by the Sterenbach, where the procession will form and St. Martin will take the lead on horseback. The Music Association will head the procession and musically accompany it through the village as usual.
The procession will travel along Grünewaldstraße, then Im Bungert, followed by Bombogener Straße and Felsenstraße, before returning to the festival grounds via Am Sterenbach. Many children will bring their lanterns, and traditionally, numerous families and residents will join along the route.
After returning, the Martinsfeuer will be lit at the festival grounds. Pretzels, grilled sausages, mulled wine, and children's punch will be available for the visitors.

The Martins Tombola will also take place again. Tickets are available as usual through the Lüxem farm shop of the Ambrosius mill bakery, via door-to-door sales, and by ordering via email at info@mvluexem.de.

The Lüxem Music Association looks forward to a well-attended procession, many lanterns, and a festive Martin's evening in the village.
