Historical Festival Week 2001 Comes to Life Again At the cultural center "Old Joinery", Burgstraße 19, on Friday, October 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a time travel to the "Historical Festival Week" of 2001 will take place. A PowerPoint presentation featuring historical footage recalls the grand event and the community's involvement. Historical Festival Week 2001 Comes Alive Again

At the cultural center "Alte Schreinerei", Burgstraße 19, there will be a journey back in time on Friday, October 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The focus is on the "Historical Festival Week" from 2001, which captivated numerous people 25 years ago.
A PowerPoint presentation featuring numerous historical images recalls the extraordinary major event and shows how much dedication the community put into preparing and shaping the festival week. The program ranged from the festive high mass at the city wall to theater performances, historic craftsmen, hunters and anglers' booths, dance groups, food and drinks prepared in the old style, as well as numerous exhibitions.
Additionally, a photo exhibition about the hotels and restaurants of the town in 1940 will be on display – at a time when around 1,500 people lived here.
