On two floors the visitor can get information on the topics of geology, forest, apiary and agriculture. With an elevator to the earth's history, the guest travels on a journey through time through many millennia of earth's history. An extensive fossil collection with fossils from the Devonian rocks of the Prümer Mulde underpins the biodiversity of the prehistoric world of life. If you want to deal with the microwaves, you can look at the smallest fossils under the microscope.
A forest diorama with the native animal world as well as an exhibition on the management of the forest over the last decades, the "experience of the forest with all senses" as well as the native bird world, show the diversity of the forest. Forest damage, caused by small and large pests, round off the subject of forest.
On the subject of agriculture and cultural landscape, an exhibition will be held. In addition, the visitor receives information on typical local wet biotopes such as Mittelgebirgsbach, ponds and pools, moors of the Schneifel. The interactions of agriculture, natural and environmental protection and human intervention in the natural environment will be felt in this exhibition.
