An imaginatively designed landscape awaits visitors to the sculpture park in Niederprüm on an outdoor area of around 20,000 square meters. With sensitivity and a great love of nature, the qualified designer Hubert Kruft has created a very individual exhibition setting for his art! Motifs worked in metal, taken from nature and presented in nature. He became known through numerous prizes in state competitions and exhibitions; his works belong to the top class of today's copper works and sculptures made of Corten steel. The sculptures on display mainly show life-size native birds such as eagles, wood grouse, owls, etc. and are mostly embossed in copper. Visitors can also discover the works of the two metal sculptors Hubert and Lukas Kruft in the exhibition and sales room next to the studio. Life-size herons are lovingly arranged in the outdoor area. Again and again one sees metal insects; Dragonflies that frolic around the numerous ponds with apparent ease, butterflies as a subtle decoration and spiders, whose subtle magic of their bizarre appearance no visitor can escape. Bird feeders, whether hanging or standing as a sculpture, complete the range in a classy way. The designs and technical elaboration of the local animal world is based on nature, but by no means purely naturalistic. Hubert Kruft and his son Lukas do not depict, they interpret in the reduced form, work out characteristic features of a species, present them slightly exaggerated, dominantly. The adjoining park allows you to play with the dimensions. The "spiral wind" fountain rises up to a height of 4.50 meters or, not to be overlooked, the 3 meter tall parasitic wasp vis à vie. Handcrafted from solid copper, the garden fountains are a real eye-catcher for any home garden. With a soothing splash, the water pours from bowl to bowl and is pumped up again by a quiet electric motor.

A visit to the sculpture park of the Kruft family is worthwhile!
