Your holiday flat is situated in a central yet quiet location in the middle of Daun. All important facilities, shops, restaurants, etc. are within walking distance. The holiday flat with 105 sqm of living space is located on the middle floor of the house and is accessed from the garden side, which cannot be seen.The garden with terrace and lawn is framed by a 4-metre high rampart wall, which encloses the Daun castle hill in a semicircle.The Maare-Mosel cycle path is only a few hundred metres away and easily accessible. The house has a spacious double garage with lockable parking for a car and bicycles, as well as its own parking spaces.

The "Hochbermeler" dream trail leads right past our front door. Germany's most beautiful hiking trail of 2011, the "Monrealer Ritterschlag", is just a few minutes' walk from our vacation home. The natural paths lead to wildly romantic castles, impressive gorges and stream valleys as well as fantastic viewpoints of the volcanic Eifel and the Rhine and Moselle valleys.Our vacation home is not only ideally located for a hiking vacation. The world-famous Nürburgring, for example, is just a 15-minute drive away.The Eifel town of Mayen, famous throughout the region for its slate mining and castle festival, is just a 10-minute drive away.Koblenz, which hosted the 2011 Federal Garden Show and was visited by more than 3 million guests, is just 30 minutes away. Visit the Deutsches Eck, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the historic old town and the Electoral Palace. Koblenz also invites you to stroll and store at any time of year.Trier, the oldest city in Germany, can be easily reached in just 45 minutes. Explore the Roman city or take a trip to the neighboring Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.The famous Moselle excursion destination of Cochem is just a 20-minute drive away. Discover the beauty of the Moselle valley with its many medieval castles and steep vineyards.

Our modern and lovingly designed apartment with a size of 110 sqm for up to 6 people + 1 toddler is located on the 1st floor. Upper floor in a quiet location. It has two balconies (12 and 5 square meters). The large southwest balcony is equipped with balcony furniture, electric awning and barbecue. There you can enjoy the sun until the evening. All rooms are flooded with light, spacious and furnished to a high standard. A car parking space and a bicycle garage are available. Our house is the ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and bicycle tours. In the immediate vicinity are the Maifeld cycle path, Eltz Castle and Pyrmont Castle with the award-winning dream paths "Eltzer Burgpanorama" and "Pyrmonter Felsensteig" as well as the dream area "Paradiesweg". The Moselle and Rhine valleys, the Laacher See, the Eifelmaare, the geyser in Andernach and the beautiful cities of Koblenz and Mayen can be reached in a short time. In our village there is a bakery with farm shop (distance about 100m). There are also two restaurants, the "Alte Remise-Boulodrome" and the "Route House". Within a radius of 3 to 5 km there is a very diverse gastronomy. There you can enjoy German country house cuisine as well as Greek, Italian or Croatian cuisine. About 1.5 km away is an alpaca ranch, where an outdoor picnic can be booked with the animals in the pasture.
