Monschau is unique in many ways. The historic old town in the narrow valley of the Rur is reminiscent of the cloth-making era in the 17th century. Well-preserved half-timbered houses stand right next to the stately houses of the cloth makers. With its many different sights, Monschau has something to offer in every season! The villages around Monschau also stand for a typical Eifel building method, whether it is the Venndörfer on the edge of the high moor area Hohes Venn - such as Kalterherberg, Konzen and Mützenich - or the federal gold village Höfen with its hedge landscape on the edge of the Eifel National Park. The Monschau Touristik team will be happy to help you plan your stay - 365 days a year.
