Viewing platform at the Urft dam. The viewing platform on the Urft dam wall was the site of the barrier keeper's homestead built between 1924 and 1926 until it was destroyed in the Second World War. From here you have a wonderful view of Lake Urft, the former Ordensburg Vogelsang and the Urft dam wall.

Salvatorianer Kloster Steinfeld

Visit the Salvatorian Monestry Steinfeld with three characteristic towers. The monastery together with its Basilica belongs to the most important medieval monuments in the Rhineland. Its beginnings go back to the time of Henry I (919 - 936). The basilica attached to the monastery was built between 1142 and 1150 as one of the earliest German vaulted churches by Premonstratensians.

Römische Kalkbrennerei Iversheim

The lime distillery in Bad Münstereifel-Iversheim is one of several distilleries that were built and operated by Roman legionaries as early as around 100 AD.
