National Park gates

The entrance gates to the Eifel National Park.

The National Park gates are a combination of tourist information and National Park infopoints, with an exhibition of all topics related to the Eifel National Park.
Each gate has a different National Park theme as its focus, making it worth visiting several gates.

The gates are open daily, the entry is free of charge:

April - Oktober:
10 am – 1 pm + 1.30 pm – 6 pm

November - March:
10 am – 1 pm + 1.30 pm – 4 pm

National Park Gates

Nationalpark-Tor Höfen

At the National Park Gate in Höfen you will find a Tourist Information Centre, the exhibition on "A blaze of yellow daffodils and changing forests", a digital model of the area and National Park films.

Nationalpark-Tor Nideggen

The Nideggen National Park Gate welcomes visitors to the Haus am Tor at Zülpicher Tor in the historic town centre of Nideggen.

Nationalpark-Tor Rurberg

In the National Park Gate in Rurberg, you can get information about the Eifel National Park region and visit the exhibition “Nature's Lifelines”.

Nationalpark-Tor Heimbach

At the National Park Gate in Heimbach you will find a Tourist Information Centre, the exhibition on "Secrets of the forest", a digital model of the area and National Park films.
