The XXL or panorama bench of Sarmersbach was erected in November 2020 and is the largest bench in Rhineland-Palatinate.
With a height of 3.25 meters and a length of 6.27 meters, it is unique. More than 6 cubic meters of Douglas fir wood were used.
The bench can be reached easily via a wooden footbridge, climbing is not necessary! However, walking on the bench is at your own risk!
The hiker is rewarded by a magnificent distant view. Hike on the Heimatspur Afelskreuzrunde and you will pass the XXL bench. Rest here and enjoy the view!
