Museumsstellwerk - Lissendorf
The signal tower in Lissendorf, built in 1912, is an eye-catcher as well as a record of the past. Until 2006, it was still in service with cable technology, form signals, lever banks and tensioning systems, before it was replaced by a so-called "modular house" with remote-controlled computer technology. With the still existing technology it is unique on the railway line Köln-Trier and it is the oldest remaining lever signal tower with cable technology of the Eifel route. The building and the technical facilities are listed buildings.
