The "Welfenstube" restaurant has been in existence in Bad Bertrich for over 20 years. This was made possible by extensive renovation work and the addition of the spacious conservatory. The regional brand Eifel, with its high-quality products, characterises the regional consciousness of the house's cuisine. The freshly slaughtered products from the Janshen poultry farm and the cheese from the Gillenfeld volcano farm and goat farm, which has been highly praised in the "Feinschmecker" magazine, are among the bestsellers. The schnitzels from the Eifel premium pork inspire with their quality and size. Whether fresh veal, turkey or premium pork schnitzel variations, the chef knows how to turn something ordinary into something special. He likes to flirt with the Mediterranean cuisine of fish and lamb dishes. The gourmet salads of the diet-trained restaurateur are also gaining a good reputation.
Something very special is the "Bad Bertrich mustard soup" with strips of bacon, Glauber's salt water from the Bertrich mountain spring and cream topping.
