The family farm in the Volcanic Eifel is home to around 11,000 floor-raised chickens and 250 free-range chickens and is a member of the Eifel regional brand. The focus is always on the species-appropriate husbandry of the animals and the quality of the product. It is not for nothing that the feed has been changed since 2010 and since then no genetically modified poultry feed has been used.
You can taste that too. The poultry products are produced with much love and are available in the farm shop. Homemade fresh egg pasta, apple juice, goat cheese, gift baskets, gift vouchers and decorative items as well as honey and spirits round off the diverse range of products from own and regional production.
The delicacies from Geflügelhof Janshen are also available in Daun in their own poultry shop. The Janshens are regularly represented at the weekly markets in Ulmen, Wittlich, Cochem, Gerolstein and Traben-Trarbach and offer free-range and barn eggs, fresh poultry and pasta.
