Gemünden maar nature pool

The brave of heart can simply jump head-first into the open-air pool, even from a 7.5 m diving tower. Relax in the large poolside area, splash around with your child in the pool for non-swimmers, or take a break at the kiosk.

The maar, with its reed bed areas and flat banks knotted with tree roots, can also be explored by boat. You are not likely to see fish here, since the low oxygen content in the water makes it habitable for just a small number of fish species.
