Calamine flowers

Share content:

Calamine flowers, or calamine vegetation, is the botanical name for two plant communities of metallophytes on soil containing heavy metals.

The unique calamine flowers in and around Stolberg are best seen between May and August, when the calamine violets are in bloom in the calamine meadows.
