The hostel has an eight-meter-high climbing tower and a high ropes course. Water sports enthusiasts will find their playground on the nearby Rursee lake. Canoeing, sailing and rafting tours are real highlights of an Eifel vacation. And those who prefer to stay on the ground can kick and throw a few balls on the large outdoor area of the youth hostel. Our holiday flat is located in Illerich. The village has 790 inhabitants and is situated on the Moselhöhe about 9 km from Cochem. We have a village shop with a wide range of goods and daily fresh bread rolls. It is an ideal starting point for walks, bicycle tours in the near and far surroundings e.g. Mosel, Vulkaneifel, the Maare, Koblenz and Trier, the Nürburgring the legendary racing centre.

Behind the walls of a former farmhouse are generously proportioned rooms that can accommodate up to seven people. As a classic self-catering house, our four themed rooms offer a peaceful and restful night's sleep. In the spacious kitchen with dining area, women can linger over a cup of coffee while the men make themselves comfortable in the adjoining hunting room. The green inner courtyard is ideal for barbecues and parties on warm summer evenings. A secluded spot on the adjoining lawn is perfect for daydreaming. Ample parking is available directly at the house.

A children's playground and plenty of green space to run around in round off the complex.
