The apartment is the perfect starting point for your vacation in the Vulkaneifel. The district town of Daun itself offers you numerous cultural activities on site as well as countless excursion and hiking opportunities in the region. Arrival & connections: The top floor apartment is located in a three-party house. Free parking spaces are available in the street. For your further mobility on site, the bus station in Daun is less than 5 minutes' walk away. Buses leave from there to the nearest larger towns such as Gerolstein or to many excursion destinations and hiking starting points in the surrounding area. How to get there: By car from the direction of Cologne (north): Follow the A1 to the end of the highway (near Blankenheim). From there, continue on the country road, which will take you to Daun via Hillesheim. From Koblenz or Trier (south): Follow the A48/A1 to the Vulkaneifel highway junction. From there, take the road towards Daun. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Daun and is easily accessible by car. By train: The nearest train stations are Gerolstein station (20 km) and Wittlich main station (34 km). From there you can take a cab or a bus to Daun ZOB. Daun ZOB is only 350m from the apartment. Other train stations nearby are Koblenz main station (75 km) and ICE station Montabaur (90 km).

Spend the night in Tiny House Druidenstein The feel-good caravan is located on the edge of the village on a hill with a terraced view over the fields of the Maifeld. In the middle of the hiking trail between Pyrmont Castle and the world-famous Eltz Castle. On 30 m² of living space you will find everything you need to feel at home. Depending on your needs, you can heat with a fireplace or air conditioning. The caravan is surrounded by a seating area, sunbathing area and sun terrace with garden furniture. The caravan is a non-smoking caravan and out of consideration for other guests, the caravan should remain pet hair free. There are supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries etc. in Münstermaifeld (3 km). In an emergency, the naturopathic practice is right next door. Pyrmont Castle is 1.7 km away. At the foot of its hill is the Pyrmont Mill, where you can stop for a bite to eat on the mill terrace with a view of the beautiful waterfall on beautiful summer days. One of the most famous castles is Eltz Castle. It can be reached on foot in around two hours (5.3 km). It is a hilltop castle from the 12th century and is probably the most famous of its kind. It is definitely worth a visit. A tour is possible and definitely worth a visit. There are also several dream trails in the immediate vicinity. These include the Eltzer Burgpanorama Weg, the Nette Schieferpfad and many others in the Eifel and also around and in the beautiful Moselle valley. Hikers and cyclists will find the ideal starting point for many interesting tours here.

In the immediate vicinity of the Nohn mill we offer two vacation apartments, which are located in a wonderful and quiet secluded location directly on the Ahbach. It is only about 500 m to the Dreimühlen waterfall, to Nohn about 1 km. Bike path and Eifelsteig pass by in the immediate vicinity. Parking lot at the house. The neighboring Café Nohner Mühle offers delicious waffles, cakes and snacks.

Our home including the aprox. 65 m² basement flat is located in a quiet area at the end of a dead end road. It's a 5-min walk to the citycenter. A separate access leads into the floor from where you get into a bedroom, a bathroom and the livingroom with kitchen and dining area. Kilometers of walking- and hiking paths start directly next to the house. Also you will find bike paths and by train you can go to Euskirchen, Cologne, Bonn, Aachen or Trier.
