GPX E-Bike-Tour: GesundLand 360 Grad

This route combines the Maare-Moselle and Kosmos cycle paths to form a 360° loop through GesundLand Vulkaneifel. The continuously asphalted path is also ideal for racing bikes.

The GesundLand 360° cycle tour shows the Volcanic Eifel in all its diversity - with maars, gentle volcanic hills, wide valleys and historic sites. If you start in Daun, you will quickly realize that this tour is more than just a leisurely e-bike tour: around 45 kilometers and around 700 metres in altitude are challenging and at the same time offer impressive nature experiences.
The start via the Maare-Moselle cycle path leads quietly out of the city on the former railroad line and helps you to find your own rhythm. The landscape between Gillenfeld and Eckfeld soon opens up and the Holzmaar glistens between the trees - one of the typical volcanic eyes of the Eifel. The route continues via Eckfeld up to Buchholz Monastery, which lies like a quiet haven of peace in the middle of vast fields. The route then leads to Manderscheid, where the Manderscheid castles tower imposingly over the Liesertal valley and provide an impressive glimpse into history.
From here, the route follows the Cosmos Cycle Path, whose stations represent the solar system. The path runs quietly through forests and meadows and repeatedly opens up wide views of the volcanically formed landscape. Thanks to paved paths throughout, the tour offers ideal conditions - even for racing cyclists.
The GesundLand 360° invites you to consciously experience nature: the wind on the heights, the scent of the forest, the whirring of the tires.
