"Get on the bike" is the motto again on Whit Monday. Between Rommerheim (near Prüm) and Rittersdorf (near Bitburg), the valley of the Eifel river Nims invites you to a cycling adventure day.

The special thing about this day: The L5 state road will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The official start of "Nim(m)s Rad" this year is at 10 a.m. at Rittersdorf Castle.

In the local communities along the route, the participants of "Nim(m)s Rad" can expect a varied supporting program and good entertainment with music, Eifel specialties, homemade cakes, children's entertainment and much more.

If you have a breakdown on the way, the professionals from the Diederichs bike shop in Weinsheim will help you at the bike service station in Schönecken. Stationary contact points for the DRK medical service are located along the route in Schönecken, at the Nimshuscheider Mühle and in Bickendorf.

Charging facilities for e-bikes will also be set up along the route. So you can comfortably take a break at one of the action points while the battery recharges its batteries.

Please note that no cyclist bus can be used this year.
