Wehrer Kesselweg
Wehr
The family-friendly and easy-to-walk hiking trail leads across meadows, beech and spruce forests to the geyser at the Carbo site. The artificial geyser can be observed from most points on the eastern side of the hiking trail.
Geyser fountain times:
April - October: daily 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
November - March: daily 11:00 a.m.
(In the event of permafrost, the fountains are temporarily closed)
If the 4.5 km route on the small circular path is too short for you, you can take the long route past the Dachsbusch nature reserve with the ice-age sliding fold. A magnificent view over the entire Wehrer Kessel compensates for the wind-dependent noise disturbance caused by the highway.
Circular trail 4.5 km
Large circular route 8.2 km
Detour to Wehr 0.4 km to the former monastery complex, the parish church of St. Potentinus with baroque garden and old winery
