Copper Route

Share content:

The Copper hiking trail (“Kupferroute”) leads to key products resulting from the long history of metalworking in Stolberg. The town’s development was influenced by copper master craftsmen, brass smelters and copper mills. On winding forest paths or over broad meadows, the route also leads to viewpoints that offer a view onto the magnificent Eifel landscape, in some cases right across to Belgium. Unique: from May to August, the calamine pansies are in bloom, which can only be found in these ore fields.
