A classic returns to the timetable this year with the evening tour: after several years of interruption, the Brohltalbahn is offering the ever-popular evening tour again this summer!

The tour departs at 18:15 from Brohltalbahnhof in Brohl-Lützing, directly opposite the DB railroad station. In an evening atmosphere, the journey leads up the valley through the narrowly cut lower Brohl Valley, over bridges and through a tunnel to Burgbrohl and on to Oberzissen at the foot of Olbrück Castle. From there, as part of a guided hike, guests reach a barbecue hut with great views, where a tasty dinner is served around a campfire in a summery atmosphere.

As darkness falls, a night hike through the full moon night begins, at the end of which the "Volcano Express" is ready for the return journey. The return journey in the nostalgic carriages leads through the night back to Brohl, where the train will arrive at around 00:40. The ticket price (incl. dinner and hike) is 30 euros for adults and 15 euros for children. Pre-registration or online booking is required for participation.
