A short walk from Himmerod Monastery is the cosy restaurant "Zur Alten Scheune" in the small Eifel village of Schwarzenborn. The innkeepers will be happy to spoil you with German-Austrian cuisine, coffee and cake, Kaiserschmarrn and other delicacies.

A beautiful outdoor terrace invites you to linger in summer and early autumn. The local playground is in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.
