Naturfreibad am Rurseezentrum
'Rurseezentrum' offers bathing fun for big and small water rats. A barrier-free path, with sufficient seating, leads once around the Eiserbachsee and meanders through the spacious green area. The entrance to the swimming lake leads flat into the water and is therefore particularly popular with families with small children.
On the shore there is a wooden ship, which can be conquered by the children. Sun worshippers will find many sheltered berths in the spacious grounds and if you prefer shady, you will also find a suitable place under a tree.
The bathing area is open all year round and the entrance to the beach is free. Parking spaces are available for a fee. Not only the water attracts the recreational athletes to the lake, but also the large meadow football field and the beach volleyball court. Playing and romping is of course expressly desired.
You are welcome to bring your dog to the Rurseezentrum. However, the dog is not allowed in the bathing lake and also not in the lower area of the lawn, but leashed in the upper area.
Barbecuing is expressly forbidden! The exception is the barbecue in the adjacent grill hut below the RV park. More information about the grill hut can be found at Uncle Lupo on the swimming lake.
