The "Alte Holzindustrie" was built in 1913 / 14 by the Hausmann company under the company name Kümmel & Co. for the production of plywood. The historical industrial plant consists of several rebuilt production halls, whereby the residential and administrative buildings to the south were designed in the contemporary, neoclassical style. In 1935 the residential building was extended by the Cologne master builder Wiebel. In the large garden with gnarled old trees behind historical walls, you can find the beer garden of the Pizzeria L`Italiano today. Enjoy traditional Italian specialties, fine wines and the casual atmosphere á la Dolce Vita.
