Deep in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, in a dreamy valley, lies a small village called Schutz. Our vacation home is located at the western end of this village. The large property invites you to barbecue, romp around and have fun. A private adventure tour through the Wallmerbach is also fun for the whole family. The house has a living space of approx. 150m² and with its 3 bedrooms offers space for a maximum of 6 people. Kitchen, dining room, living room and bathrooms are optimally equipped. The house offers a fireplace where you can relax with your favorite drink in the evening, a large terrace and a spacious property, ideal for families or smaller groups. There are several hiking trails nearby and a small mountain with a beautiful view over the entire area. In the next bigger town Daun, you will find some shopping facilities, a really great movie theater, as well as the "Wild und Erlebnispark Daun". The volcanic Eifel offers you a wide range of activities, such as cave tours, cycling and hiking trails, fishing and swimming spots, maars, a geyser, incredibly beautiful castles and old fortresses and knight games, as well as great events such as the Daun funfair or the Eifel rally and much much more. We would be delighted to be able to offer you an anchor point and a temporary "home" for all these experiences. Stop by and experience nature and adventures in your own new way.

The Eifeltraum vacation apartment welcomes you to Plaidt in Rhineland-Palatinate, in the Volcanic Eifel region, close to the wine-growing areas of the Rhine and Moselle, ideal for hikers, cyclists and culture enthusiasts. The 75 m² apartment has 1 double bedroom with an additional sofa bed and a baby crib, 1 single bedroom, a living/dining area with sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and washing machine. Families with children are always welcome. We are therefore happy to provide a crib and a high chair for our younger guests free of charge. A 4th and 5th person can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the living room and in the double room.The accommodation is located in a centrally located play street, where you will find a bakery, butcher, bank, post office and four supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. You can also enjoy the wide range of fresh, seasonal produce from local farm stores. Look forward to a small garden and, of course, free Wi-Fi in this privately run apartment. The lively community of Plaidt with its 6,000 inhabitants can be reached quickly via the A61 / A48 and public transport thanks to its excellent transport links.A large outdoor pool, just 1 km away, offers fun and sport for the whole family, and right next door in Rauscher Park is the Volcano Park Information Center, where young and old geologists can immerse themselves in the exciting world of the East Eifel volcanoes. The Roman town of Andernach on the Rhine with the world's largest cold-water geyser is 5 km away and the wine village of Kobern-Gondorf on the Moselle is 14 km away. Lake Laach with its world-famous monastery is 12 km away, and the historic city of Koblenz is just a 20-minute drive away.
