Edmund Geisen was born in Lützkampen in the West Eifel in 1949. From there he made it to the state parliament in Mainz and the Bundestag in Berlin. In his autobiography, Geisen describes his childhood and life in the West Eifel and the circumstances that led to a rich life despite his poor origins. A private and interesting insight into the general and personal history of the West Eifel. The book will be presented to the public at an event, including a lecture and reading by Edmund Geisen.
