Drinking water supply and water tower in the historic town of Münstermaifeld (guided tour)

Drinking water has always been a prerequisite for settlement. A plentiful spring, wells and cisterns were the basis for supplying the Celts, Romans, Franks and today's citizens of the settlement of Münstermaifeld with the vital liquid. The guided tour explains the details of the supply over the centuries and offers as a conclusion and highlight the ascent of the water tower, which provides an extraordinary 360° panoramic view over the Maifeld and the neighboring landscape. After the tour, the participants stop for coffee and cake in a local restaurant. There they will have the opportunity to exchange views with the guide.
