The main cemetery in Düren

Today's main cemetery was laid out in 1903 as a park under the name "Neuer Friedhof Düren-Ost". Old trees and gravestones worth seeing make the cemetery an interesting place that is well worth getting to know. Did you know that there are tombs here that were created by the later famous artist Ulrich Rückriem, who also created the steles in the city? The entertaining tour takes you on a walk that brings you closer to life in Düren's past through historical stories.

The tour starts at the main cemetery (traffic circle at the main entrance) and lasts approx. 2 hours. Tickets are available in advance at iPUNKT or online via eventim.
