If you love magnificent views, you are on the right hiking route in the NaturWanderPark delux. The southern edge of the Islek offers impressive views over the Bitburger Gutland, 300 m below. When the air is clear, even the Hunsrück peaks at the Scheuerdell viewpoint are almost within reach. But the route also offers other eye-catchers; so e.g. B. the worth seeing pilgrimage church in Weidingen, whose beginnings lie in the early 14th century. But the Fischbacher Chapel, which sits enthroned on a rocky spur, also invites you to linger and reflect.
