Marlies Blume comes to Mayen again with "menschenbewegt"

Mayen. She already wowed the audience in Mayen last fall. And she will be back again with her program "menschenbewegt" on 30 November 2024 at the Bürgerhaus Mayen-Hausen: the award-winning cabaret artist Heike Sauer as Marlies Blume. Admission is from 7 pm, the performance starts at 8 pm. Marlies Blume goes inside herself, comes out again and then surpasses herself. She sprouts the most curious blossoms, sprays extensive soul fertilizer, plants herself in the middle of life, goes deep down to the roots and yet always stays above the belt. Full of energy and joy, she whirls across the stage, sings and dances and talks and talks and talks - with body and soul, hands and feet and from heart to heart! There is much more to an evening with Marlies than meets the eye. Caution: The audience may be left with after-effects! Marlies Blume has something to say - and it needs to be said. With this in mind: Let Blume speak! Tickets are available from the Mayen Tourist Information Office or can be reserved by sending an e-mail to gleichstellung.stadt@mayen.de (advance booking adults: €22, young people: €15; box office: €25). Further information about the artist at: www.marliesblume.de.

BatNight
Aug 31, 2024

Batnight in the Mayen pit field on August 31 NABU Rhineland-Palatinate invites you to the big bat festival Bats have long since ceased to be considered blood-sucking vampires and are now regarded as lovable animals worthy of protection. When dusk falls, they sail silently in the sky. The agile insect hunters can also be seen in the Mayen pit field on August 26. NABU Rhineland-Palatinate, together with NABU Mayen and Erlebniswelten Grubenfeld, is organizing the largest state event as part of the international Batnight (EUROBATS). The former mining area in Mayen is home to 14 of the 25 species native to Germany, a total of over 50,000 bats. This unique habitat is the largest bat hibernation site in Germany. An extensive supporting program will be offered from 4 pm: Guided tours, face painting for children, craft tables, archery and much more will entertain and challenge visitors.
