The young carpenters of the Bernkastel-Wittlich district will present their journeyman's pieces in the Old Town Hall in Wittlich in 2025.
Nine trainees are currently working on the final details of their pieces, which will then be assessed by the examination board. Head master carpenter Walter Blasius emphasises that the journeyman's piece is the centrepiece of the examination and demonstrates the craftsmanship of the trainee.
The carpenters' guild invites interested pupils and trainees to find out more about the requirements of the profession.

The exhibition will take place from 14 to 29 June in the Old Town Hall, Neustraße 2 in Wittlich.
