We start our hike "Schuld-Winnerath-Insul-Schuld" in the center of Schuld at the bus stop at the Ahrbrücke bridge.
The tour to the Schulder Türmchen to wers starts here. Through forest and across wide meadows with fascinating views as far as the Siebengebirge mountains, the route leads via Winnerath to Insul. At the mill pond there, a short detour to the "Hahnensteiner Mühle" mill dating back to 1556 is recommended. Past the mill weir, the trail leads over the Ahr bridge to the AhrSteig trail. A detour to the "Goldloch" mining information site is well worthwhile: Here you can discover information about copper mining and geology.
Another highlight of the tour awaits hikers a little further on: the "Prümer Tor" natural monument, an impressive rock crevice formed over millions of years by the force of water. It invites you to take a break and refresh yourself with a footbath in the Ahr. If you continue along the AhrSteig trail, you will return to the starting point in Schuld.
