Matthias and Gertrud Schmalen have been running a distillery in Idesheim in the Eifel region for about 20 years now. They produce about 20 different brandies and 10 different liqueurs themselves.


If you would like to taste how the fruit tastes in the bottle, you are welcome to join us for a schnapps tasting. We will then welcome you in our distillery rooms and will explain and show you the distillation process during a guided tour. The production and differences of the individual brandies will be explained during the schnapps tasting - from harvest to distillate.
