Cabaret meets Gospel – and heaven gets to laugh heartily! On this special evening, the pointed humor of cabaret artist Inka Meyer combines with the stirring singing of the Gospel choir from Wittlich. Join Inka Meyer on a fast-paced road trip to Polish Pomerania. What begins as an exciting search for her own family tree and a missing viola ends as a ridiculous odyssey through the German healthcare system. Inka Meyer’s humor serves as her travel pharmacy: “If you have nothing to laugh about yourselves, then at least laugh at me!”

The musical counterpart is provided by the award-winning Gospel choir from Wittlich. Founded over 40 years ago, it has been delighting audiences for years with a repertoire of classic gospel pieces and modern pop arrangements from the European gospel scene. Gospel means “good news” – and you can feel that message in every song.

This evening will show that humor and singing together are true sources of strength: They reduce stress, bring happiness, and are good for the body, mind, and soul. Laughing and singing help heal. Both are a natural therapy, completely without side effects, except perhaps good mood! But beware: The cabaret artist and the choir are … highly contagious!
