Vernissage zur Ausstellung "Mühlen im Liesertal" in Wittlich

Invitation to the vernissage on April 19, 2026, Sunday, at 11 a.m. in the former synagogue in Wittlich, Himmeroder Str. 44. On the occasion of a local history exhibition "Mills in the Liesertal. A history of culture and crafts". The history of the mills in the Liesertal will be presented for the first time.

After the vernissage, the exhibition in the municipal gallery "Mills in the Liesertal" will be visited, which can be seen from April 19 to October 30, 2026.

The exhibition will be accompanied by an impressive catalog presenting the mills in the Liesertal and their history. The exhibition will be on display throughout the 2026 hiking season from April 19 to October 30. As part of the exhibition, the Wittlich Stadt & Land tourist information office, in cooperation with the cultural office, the Eifelverein OG Wittlich and Albert Klein, is offering romantic mill tours to a total of six mills in the town area on selected dates throughout the summer. Tickets for the mill tours are available from mid-April via www.ticket-regional.de.
