Majestically, the Löwenburg and Philippsburg castles throne over the medieval timber-framed town of Monreal - on the way with the Eifelverein Daun


Magnificently towering above the medieval half-timbered town of Monreal are the Löwenburg and Philippsburg. The Eifel Association's Daun trail on Wednesday, April 22, leads along the dream path Monrealer Ritterschlag through steep, winding forest paths, adventurous gorges, and spectacular views back to the final stop.
Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required.
